The building's form is a continuation of the tradition pitch roof form of the main house, with the addition of contemporary refined detailing and material palette. White render is replaced with a smooth sawn, large format stone panels and timber cladding meticulously arranged around window opening and concealed eaves guttering.

A glass pitched roof divides the building and separates the principal bedroom suite from the family living areas, flooding the building with light throughout the day. Seamlessly detailed timber louvres internally provide shade and dappled lighting to the internal spaces.
